4 days marrakech desert tour
On the first day of the tour, our driver will pick you up at 8:00 AM from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. We'll head directly to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, passing through the High Atlas Mountains. Afterward, we'll visit Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. We'll continue our journey through the Draa Valley to reach Zagora, where you'll embark on a camel ride to your Berber desert camp. Enjoy a warm Berber dinner by the campfire, listen to local drum music, and spend the night in the desert. You can choose to stay in private bivouacs or under the starry Sahara sky.
The following morning, start your day with a delightful breakfast at the camp while basking in the mesmerizing desert sunrise. You'll then make your way back to Zagora, retracing your path on camelback. Our journey resumes with a visit to Ouarzazate, often regarded as the Gateway to the true Desert. Here, we'll pause for a satisfying lunch and a vehicle change for the remainder of the tour. Continuing on, we'll venture through the picturesque Valley of Roses, navigating winding roads that lead us to the captivating Dades Valley. In this charming location, you'll enjoy a delectable dinner and a comfortable night's stay in a hotel featuring private rooms.
Following a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we'll set our sights on the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where you can immerse yourself in the wonders of its natural beauty. Here, we'll also indulge in a delightful lunch. Our journey continues as we head towards Rissani, a place of cultural significance and vibrant markets to explore. From there, we'll make our way to the enchanting Merzouga, where a thrilling camel trek awaits you. Traverse the stunning dunes of Erg Chebbi as you journey to a Berber camp, where you'll experience another night of traditional Berber entertainment and camaraderie with the locals. Dinner will be served in the camp, providing an authentic and memorable experience. Later, you'll retire to your comfortable tents for a night under the starry desert sky.
On the final day of your journey, you'll begin with a trek back to the hotel in Merzouga. There, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast and take a brief break to relax and rejuvenate. Afterward, we'll commence our return journey to Marrakech, following a route that leads us through the scenic Draa Valley, Ouarzazate, and the majestic High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to savor the picturesque landscapes and cultural richness of the region. Anticipate reaching Marrakech at approximately 7:00 PM, where we'll ensure a convenient drop-off at your hotel. This marks the conclusion of your unforgettable 4-day desert trip from Marrakech, leaving you with cherished memories of your Moroccan adventure.
